Pride Parade 2pm starting at Maitland street, one below Gottingen off Cornwallis
Reception and BBQ at Sackville Landing 3-5pm
Over 30s potluck dinner and social. Time and place to be announced
Women's Dance at the Civic Workers Club
8:30pm - 1am (Please note that the time was misprinted in Wayves)
$7 in advance (at Reflections, Entitlement, NRG and Venus Envy) or $9 at the door.
Door prizes and proceeds to Gay Pride. Bring your movie stub from last night and receive an extra door prize ticket for free.

Movies!
Yes, we will be renting out films by mid-July. Our focus will be on GLBT selections (ie. Better than Chocolate, Jeffry), cool strong chick flicks (ie. Antonia's Line, La Femme Nikita), and adult
movies (gay, lesbian and couple oriented with some sexual self help flicks as well). We bought up a bunch of good stuff from Critic's Choice as they are folding their out of business, and we plan to build on this selection over time.
The Venus Envy Bursary Fund
Applications are now available in store for this $1000 bursary. The deadline is June 30, 2000 for the September 2000 school year. The Venus Envy Bursary is open to any women in Nova Scotia who has been accepted into a certificate, degree or diploma program. Anyone with any great fund raising ideas please E-mail ; we can use all the help and suggestions you can offer.
