We think that the business of providing sexual and erotic products and information is founded on trust and respect. Thus, we understand that collecting, using, and (most of all) protecting your personal information and privacy is a matter of importance and responsibility.
Personal Information
When you visit our website, we collect no personal information about you until you choose to order from us. We store that information securely online only if you choose to create a customer account, and we use that information only for the purpose of processing your purchases. It is not necessary to register in order to purchase from us (in which case your address and payment information is deleted as soon as your order is processed).
Shipping
All our products are shipped discreetly in innocuous boxes, and neither the contents nor the shipper are explicitly identified on the packing materials.

Our promises to you:
- We will never sell or rent or share our customer data.
- We securely encrypt, verify, and otherwise protect the personal data we collect and store. (See our security page for details.)
- We will not use the information we collect (such as your email address) for any purpose not directly related to your purchase, unless you explicitly ask join our mailing list (which is in turn only used to send out our store newsletters and their errata).
- We protect the anonymity of our newsletter subscribers by sending our email newsletter to each subscriber individually.
- We will send your order anonymously: it will be packed in discreet, re-used boxes and marked with a return address only — without our business name. Orders shipped outside of Canada will be described on Customs forms in everyday terms such as "massager," "toy," "book," "belt," "lotion," or "movie."
Information collection
We ask only for the personal information necessary to verify your credit and ship your order, and we use it only for those purposes. If you register as a member The information we require includes your name, mailing address, and credit card information (which includes your credit card number and expiry as well as your name and billing address). We verify your credit information with your credit card company, but otherwise the information you give us remains strictly between you and us.
While you are browsing our web site, information about what pages you look at is recorded for the purpose of evaluating the popularity and effectiveness of our site. This information includes the type of web browser you use, the IP address of your Internet Service Provider, and what pages or search engines referred you to our site. This data is used to generate statistics used by the web designer and management to improve the performance of our website. It is never connected with any identifying personal information, and is only used in statistical aggregate form.
Guest shopping
You do not have to register with us to buy from our catalogue. Guests can provide their shipping and billing information for a single order, meaning that no personal information will stored on our site after a guest's order is processed (we do retain print copies of such transactions for our records). This means, however, that:
» Guests' personal data will need to be re-entered on a return shopping visit.
» Guests' shopping carts are valid only for a short time.
» Guests cannot track the status of the orders they submit.
» We will be unable to easily contact you about your order once it has been processed.
Customer accounts
When you order from us, we offer you the opportunity to create an account with our web site. This means that we store the information you provide so you don't have to provide it again every time you return to buy something. We use this information to fill in the shipping and address information for any orders you make through the site. This feature also offers you the option to have our site "remember" you so you don't need to type in your sign-in name and password every time you shop. Letting us remember your information means that:
» Repeat shoppers' sensitive personal info can be provided once only.
» Member shopping carts are valid for 48 hours.
» Members can track the status of their orders.
Members have full access to view and change their personal information and any account options, such as automatic login or newsletter subscription.
Data Security
When we collect your personal information, either as a guest or as a member, we do so using a "secure server." This means that the data is encrypted in transit by 128-bit SSL encryption (the world standard for e-commerce) to protect your information from cyber-eavesdroppers. We also encrypt and hash sensitive data (using SHA256 and Blowfish) on both ends of the browser / server conversation. Please see the security page for more information about our security procedures. The University of Ottawa's Couple Research Lab is looking for participants for their online study on same-sex couple relationships! This study aims to better understand personal and relationship factors that contribute to well being and distress in same-sex couples.
